The real question is what "right now" means. If it means last season's results, the other side has a fair point: a division title and a ring are real proof. But ruling a division is about present, repeatable control, not a trophy that's already been handed out. The Eagles earned that run, no argument. That doesn't mean the East is settled today, because every team resets with roster turnover, health questions, and new schemes. A ruler has to show it can stay on top after the offseason. Until the games prove that again, crowning anyone is recency bias.
