It is widely proven that the pitching talent now is so far beyond the talent of years prior, and Judge has still managed to break multiple records year in and year out.

If the bar is "greatest clean right-handed hitter," you need a career, not a highlight reel. Aaron Judge is a phenomenal power hitter, sure, but he's played barely seven effective seasons and missed chunks of three of them. Hank Aaron hit 755 homers, batted .305, and never once got implicated in anything dirty. That's the standard. Judge's 2022 was historic, but a peak of two months longer than everyone else's doesn't erase the fact that he has half the hits and half the wins above replacement of the actual greatest. Consistency is the greatest skill.

You have fallen into the trap with Hank Aaron. During Hank Aaron’s historic career (1954–1976), the league-average fastball was significantly slower than it is today, generally sitting between 82 and 86 mph, even with an advantage significatly larger than that of Aaron Judge, Judge has proven to have a higher peak than Hank Aaron, and has 2 more MVPs in the significantly less time he has played. If you compare they based on at bats, Judge to this point has blown Hank Aaron out of the water in a long list of batting categories... not to mention it is widely accepted in the baseball world that Judge was robbed of a 4th MVP

Imagine a swimmer who sets a world record in a faster pool, then misses two Olympics with injuries, and we call him the greatest ever over Michael Phelps. That’s basically the Judge argument. Sure, today’s pitching is nastier, and Judge crushes it when healthy. But “greatest” requires a body of work, not a highlight reel against better arms. Hank Aaron faced segregation-era travel, spitballs, and still put up 755 homers over 23 years. Judge has yet to string together even three fully healthy seasons. A better era makes his peak impressive, not immortal.

Longevity doesnt make you the best baseball player ever. Facing the best pitching the world has ever seen, Judge nearly laps the rest of the league in several statistical categories. Taking the average velocity that Hank Aaron faced in his time and applying it to judge, Aaron Judge has a .640 slugging % against those exact pitch averages, something Hank Aaron could only dream of. Just because you show up to every show doesnt make you the best. Its like imagine we said the guy who shows up to work everyday is better than the guy who hasnt even had the opportunity to show up as much, but he brings the company more revenue and in the same hours of work he blows the other worker out of the water, which person would you rather have? Your arguement is largely based on logevity when Judge's career isnt even over, and by you using "counting stats" the more judge plays the further my argument looks correct.

I'll concede the era point: today's arms are nastier, and Judge's raw peak is right up there with anybody. But "greatest" has to mean more than a brilliant six-year stretch interrupted by injuries. Hank Aaron gave you 23 years, 755 homers, and he never once made anyone wonder if it was clean. Judge has two MVP-level seasons and a lot of time on the IL. Calling him the greatest is like calling a guy who ran one fast marathon the greatest runner ever just because his course was tougher.
