Search engines already distinguish these crawler purposes. A clear opt-out is not censorship; it restores a fair choice. Visibility should not be conditioned on surrendering content to AI training.

Opting out of AI training does not hide a site from indexing or from search engines demoting it. AI summaries are not the only scrutiny. If a supplement site ranks high, that is a relevance failure, not a consent failure. Conditioning visibility on feeding AI is the coercion this rule prevents.
