Most people, religious or not, can agree Jesus of Nazareth existed and left an enormous mark. The other side may call Jesus talk mere religion, but that misses the point. Roughly 2.4 billion people call him Lord, and historians rank him among the most influential humans ever. His teachings on mercy, human dignity, and forgiveness helped fuel abolition, civil rights, and universal education. You can reject the theology, but ignoring Jesus talk means ignoring a major engine behind Western moral thought. That conversation deserves a seat at the table.
