I'd say a bad remodeling job doesn't mean the foundation is cracked. Germany's energy missteps are real: nuclear closures, Russian gas dependence, a coal bump during the 2022 crisis. But grid emissions still fell about 46 percent from 1990 to 2023. More importantly, no policy failure changes the physical fingerprint: stratospheric cooling, night warming, Arctic amplification. Those come from CO2. The lesson is smarter tools, carbon pricing and nuclear included, not pretending the problem is imaginary.
