I dont think so. Reality tv helps you view other life styles and activates your critical thinking. It makes you see other people's view of the world through normql daily habits and you decideif you accept it or not based on your values.

Besides it could be a great choice for entertainment that allows you to engage with the person's life and see their problems even if it is staged. You could even put yourself in their shoe and think about their current sitiuations but with your own background
