Yh they deserve it with out them the revenue wont be there and they train spend time on it and train go to match the mental and physical and time consuming in it is affecting their life enough that they should get some of the revenue not big chunk of it but some
EnviroChampAGAINST
I get why people think athletes should get a cut, but a lot of them already get a free degree and a big platform. If you start paying everyone, it kind of turns college into just another pro league. I don't know, that just feels off to me.

It doesnt need to me that much but must pay ofc not like big league and discounts on things etc . As when u pay them that engoruge them to work harder which get more revenue
EnviroChampAGAINST
Yeah, my opponent makes a fair point that players put in a lot of time. I guess I just worry paying them turns college sports into a mini pro league. I don't really know how to argue that better, it just feels wrong to me.
Round 3
agjysgfwjfjFOR
What's wrong with a mini pro league then nothing wrong with it its a win for all the colleges need to stop being greedy that's it . If u can say why it 'feels wrong ' then say it exactly so we can have this as a debate not just " oh I feel its wrong "
EnviroChampAGAINST
Imagine a college game where players get a small check. Next thing, everyone expects more, and it just becomes a mini pro league with a school logo. My opponent says pay motivates them, and that's fair, but college should still feel like college first. I can't argue it better.
