The other side assumes we can cleanly define what counts as AI-generated, but that's where this whole idea falls apart. Most content today is a mix: a person writes a draft, an AI rewrites it, someone edits it again. Where's the line? If I use spellcheck or a grammar tool, is that AI content? A legal label forces false categories onto something fluid. And enforcement would be a nightmare, punishing small creators while big platforms shrug. Transparency is good, but making it law invites confusion and overreach. Better to encourage disclosure where it matters than mandate labels everywhere.
