LGBTQ is not a bad thing for many reasons. It is just freedom, you can love who you love, and religion is an option and should not run our country.
I think the real question is whether society should treat LGBTQ identities and relationships as just another normal option. That feels wrong to me because it pushes against what many cultures have long assumed about men, women, and family, and I just can't get behind it.

Well I certainly agree that cultures assume a lot of things but that brings up my next point that just because a culture or group believes something does not mean it is true.
Take a public school lesson presenting two moms or two dads as just as normal as a mom and dad; that bothers me. My opponent makes a fair point about freedom, and I am not sure how to argue back, but my gut still says pushing all this as normal goes too far.

But your saying we shouldn't push these LGBTQ "ideas" onto people when in reality if you don't even just INTRODUCE them then you are essentially giving them no other option to enter a straight/"normal" romantic and sexual relationship.
The other side gets wrong that this is just about freedom. Freedom is fine, but presenting every family setup as equally normal in schools feels like pushing a view, not just letting people live. I admit culture isn't proof and I'm not sure how to answer that, but my gut says it goes too far.
