Pineapple on pizza is fine, I understand that food preferences are normal and everyone has a right to their own opinion that: fruit don't belong on pizza. People have to remember that tomato is a fruit as well, and so is bell pepper. Pineapple there for isn't all that strange!

Just because there's pineapple doesn't mean the pizza *has* to be soggy, fruits can be dried, roasted and so much more.
Also there are tons of food combos that are sweet and savory like: cheese and fruit, honey and cheese, salted caramel etc..
Declaring that an ingredient does not belong is a way for a group to police the borders of their food culture. Is it really a crime to enjoy unconventional food combos?

I mean...if you ordered a Hawaiian pizza I think you would expect the pineapple to be on it no? There is no guessing game happening when ordering a pizza. There are lots of toppings you can put on pizza, pineapple lovers aren't forcing anyone to include pineapple, to each there own. At the end of the day isn't it the enjoyment of the food itself what matters?
