Take those fake voice calls where scammers clone someone's voice to trick old people into sending money. That feels like pure harm to me. I know AI helps with stuff too, but I just can't shake that example.
First of all mis use in not the use and now day ai actually help to defect fake or scam call when a scammer call the screen itself show it is a suspected scam call
You're right that AI helps students, I can't really argue with that. But still, those deepfake scams and job losses worry me more. I just think the bad stuff hits harder than the good stuff, even if I can't prove it.
Fake photo were before ai only difference is that they were hard to catch but auli detect them in min and ai never take job a person knowing ai will over a person who does not know ai actually create more job such as graphic designer or technician
You make a fair point, AI does catch some scam calls now. But I still feel like for every scam it blocks, there's some new way people abuse it that we can't keep up with. The harm just feels more real to me.
