Niche genres and unique sounds grow fast, influencing people who make their own music without ai to take inspiration from that. Result is that listeners get fresh, new unique sounds to listen to.

Tech expands the pie, it doesn’t steal it, even successful musicians uses AI in their career to save money and still create the same quality of music without expensive studio engineers. Musicians spend less on expensive tools and equipment, keeping more profit. Now onto my next point, you bring up the emotional appeal, but what about the artists who click generate on their own, the AI cannot click generate on its own, a human artists has to write the lyrics, tweak the melody, describe the genre and look for imperfections and yet you still call it robotic. It is not because humans are the ones who did most of the work, ai just made it easier for them to do it. The “soul” comes from the human creator directing the tech, just like a filmmaker directing a camera or CGI. Tech as always been called soulless when it first came out, electric guitars, auto tune, synthesizers. But look now, today it’s helped make the most remarkable, most popular and emotional music ever. Streaming platforms should let the listener decide what feels soulful rather than than letting exclusives on streaming platforms ban it. Famous human artists use ai-human collaborations like the artist Grimes, she open sourced her Ai voice with Elf.tech allowing fans to create tracks with her voice in exchange for a 50/50 spilt revenue. So there you have it.
