yes it is worth the cost, freshly out of highschool we dont know where were going to and where well end up college is the preperation stage it prepares us more for lifes challenges, sure it might seem like a waste of time and money but theres a higher chance youll get employed if u do finish college.

Sure, college can help some people, and my opponent probably has a fair point about that. But the cost just seems way too high for a lot of people, and I can't shake the feeling someone ends up paying for years without a clear payoff. I don't really know how to argue it better, honestly.

the high costs are alot but scholarships are always available, sure some students might not be as rich or as smart but community colleges exist for that reason.

My opponent makes a fair point that college can help with jobs, and I’m not sure how to argue against that. But the practical consequence is a lot of people carrying debt payments for years, even if the degree doesn’t lead anywhere. That just feels like too big a risk to me.

a big risk but what would happen if someone didnt attend college? its a much bigger risk and it would guarantee much bigger risk to fail in life
