Well, hello there. Nice having you here. I want to debate on the topic about the existence of God. So let's get this straight to the point. Now, from a scientist's perspective, in evolution, we got here from primates. But where did the, where, what primate? What first primate? What primate? What evolution? No. So if I were to hold up a pen, tell me why this pen is here without using the principle of sufficient reason. Now, you might say because you're holding it, thats just you describing it without using without describing the principle of sufficient reason.

I get why belief in God feels meaningful; it answers loneliness, death, and moral longing. But that's exactly why we should be careful. The question isn't whether belief comforts us, it's whether a supernatural being actually exists. And the evidence looks like every other human made idea: many incompatible gods, no reliable miracles, and science steadily explaining what we once called divine. If God were real and wanted a relationship, wouldn't the proof be clearer than ancient texts and private feelings? I don't need certainty against God, just enough doubt to withhold belief.

A lot of people feel that if something exists, something must have always existed. I get that. But the principle of sufficient reason cuts both ways. Yes, the pen has a maker. But if everything needs a cause, then God needs one too. If God gets to be uncaused, why can't the universe, or whatever came before it, be the uncaused thing? And asking what the first primate was doesn't prove God; it just points to a gap in evolutionary detail. Mystery isn't evidence. So I still don't see enough to believe.
