Imagine a scholarship athlete already getting free tuition and housing worth tens of thousands. Adding a paycheck on top feels like it changes college from a place to learn into a pure business. I guess I just worry that takes something away.

but whatever they would be doing would get further money and popularity to their own university and colleges ,and even if the orgs had to get themselves sponsored they had to pay and the amount they plan to play athlete would be obviously could get lower than theur actual sponsership money

I get that athletes bring in a lot of money, so maybe you're right that they deserve something. But if universities start paying salaries on top of free tuition, it just turns education into a transaction. That still feels off to me, honestly.

it''s not that education organisation ain''t transaction plots ,they do take fee and other payments for things like participation into various activity,and thenwhy be philosophical and not pay those athletes??

That's a fair point about the money athletes bring in, and I honestly don't know how to answer that. But if they become paid employees, the line between college and pro sports disappears. To me, that just makes the education part feel like an afterthought.
