I would say that college athletes should deserve a cut of the revenue that is made from all of the franchise, because they’re in it of itself contributing to the franchise on a global model, so to not give them at least a percentage of it in my opinion would be to other effort

Don't athletes already get a free education and all that exposure? I guess I just feel like the scholarship and the platform are the payment, and paying them cash on top seems like too much. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my gut.

Imagine a student who gets tuition, housing, coaching, and a national TV stage for free, then also asks for cash. I get that they bring in money, and your point about contribution is fair, but I still feel like that whole package is already the reward.
