Should college athletes be paid?

Yes they should be paid as they are athletes and they generate income for their respective colleges, only right they get a wage for their efforts

College sports already give athletes a free education and a big stage to show their skills. Paying them on top of that seems like it could turn a school team into a business, and I just think that feels off. I am not sure how to argue it better than that.
