If the worry is that AI songs lack human emotion, then we'd have to ban drum machines, autotune, and half of electronic music too. Nobody's arguing that. Streaming platforms already host Muzak, ambient noise, and literal white noise playlists. The real question is whether listeners should get to choose. Let them decide. If AI slop floods the market, that's a curation problem, not an existence problem. Platforms can label AI-generated music and tweak algorithms. Blocking an entire category of creative output because some of it is bad is like banning all YouTube videos because some are cat fails.
