What good is being corrected by something that never expects you to change? My opponent's commuter feels a sting, sure, but that sting is frictionless. Real humility is social: someone with stakes corrects you, and you have to answer to them later. AI offers endless alternatives and instant confidence, then forgets. That trains people to consult, defer, and move on rather than genuinely reconsider. Yes, AI can expose limits. But exposing limits without accountability produces convenience, not character. So it may make us more informed and less humble at the same time.
