I dual claim that gender and sex are seperate fields of scientific topics and, henceforth, transgenderism is an already proven basis of neurological schema and prolific identification maps. This equalizes gender to a neurobiological discussion and sex to a purely biological. Even still biological sex has its intersexual spectrum and lands nowhere near historically nor majorly in a completely a or b output with our or most earth species.

Well quite honestly in some way they are intertwined. Many people overlap within the Venn diagram of intersexuality and transgenderism, the vilification of the topic itself is a grass roots ideological pruning method used to oppress a generally more expansive and complex market. Furthermore, “basic neurobiology” would be a stretch considering I didn’t say that, I simply cut the difference between sex as a purely biological concept from hormones to gonads and etc. these aspects affect neurobiology but never guarantee a matchup, and that’s observable fact after so many decades still.

Transgender women possess a female-sized central subdivision of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BSTc), indicating that gender identity correlates directly with sex-dimorphic brain anatomy rather than biological sex assigned at birth [Zhou et al., 1995]. I don’t have to imagine anything about this discussion, as a transgender woman who was raised in my Protestant small town I identify with this very dismorphic lense.
