I strongly support the motion that children should spend less time on social media and more time outdoors.
Social media algorithms are designed for addiction, leading to proven rises in youth anxiety, shortened attention spans, and superficial social ties. In contrast, outdoor activity provides essential physical health benefits, lowers stress, and builds real-world social and problem-solving skills.
We are not advocating for a complete digital ban, but for restoring a healthy balance where real-world physical and emotional development comes first.
