And it's really helpful because honestly, you don't need anything. You don't need any expensive studio equipment or anything. Anyone can make a song with these AI platforms. I feel like this argument basically says that AI music doesn't feel anything, which contradicts because you said yourself before that you're having a rough day and you, I listened to a song, it's made by AI, and you're feeling something. Just because it's AI does not mean that it cannot have genuine value. The emotion comes from the listener, not because the song isn't meaningful enough because it's made by AI. A person listening to it can relate more to the AI song than to a song made by a normal person. And the karaoke comparison doesn't really work either because karaoke is someone reproducing an existing song, or it's like basically a performance. AI-generated music is a different thing because it can actually produce a new, like a new song. Even if it does so using patterns, it learned it from existing music. Platforms, social media is already like filled with millions and I don't know how many songs. And just because we added AI-generated music, it does not mean that it will flood the platforms. Every musician is influenced by other musicians. There is not a song in the world that is so unique that it does not sound like any other song. There are genres, melodies, there are so many songs, there are everything that people have heard before. This doesn't mean that there aren't legitimate problems with AI music. If an AI is trained on artists' work without permission, deliberately imitates a specific artist, or floods streaming platforms with thousands of low-effort songs, those are real issues that should be regulated. But those problems are about how AI is being used, not proof that AI music itself has no artistic value. The paint-by-numbers analogy also assumes that using a tool automatically makes the result less creative. But tools have also changed art. Cameras, digital editing, auto-tune, sampling, computers all changed what people could create. We didn't decide that everything made with these tools had to be removed. For example, before cameras or anything like that came, people used to make portraits, they used to create the art themselves. But now we have cameras and everything. Before people used to write letters, now they just use AI to just, and give AI a prompt and use it. Technology has developed. Just because someone in the world, just because people are, if there is AI on streaming platforms, some people are going to use it lazily, that does not mean that someone creative can, so that does not mean that someone creative can not use it with more creativity and make a song that is perfect. So, but I mean I agree, human artists deserve protection. But human-made music and AI-made music can exist alongside each other. You don't have to believe AI songs or AI has feelings to believe that a song created with AI is not banging. AI songs can make you feel something. Deal with it, bitch.
