Picture a city at 7 AM—millions of people moving, subways running, intersections clearing. Nobody asks who designed that system because we can trace every gear and schedule. The universe looks the same way. Every mystery we've solved—disease, weather, the origin of species—turned out to have a natural explanation, not a supernatural one. The "God of the gaps" keeps getting smaller. What's left for God to actually do? If the universe works without one, if physics explains the why and the how, then belief becomes a preference, not a necessity. And a preference isn't proof.
