P1. karl marx doesn’t accurately measure the skilled labor multipliers, so you cant actually accurately measure it When a surgeon's one hour of work is worth ten hours of an assistant's work, Marx claims it is because the surgeon's labor is "multiplied simple labor." but how do you know it’s multiplied by 10? he uses the market to do so. P2. market prices are a more accurate way of measuring scarcity of items because you can find the true value of something due to demand and the way someone values something along with production cost, if you try to say a computer can do it, how does the computer know exactly the public’s demand? how does the computer know how much someone values something? the thing with conceptually saying “looks like we have more silver than gold” can lead to catstrophic inaccuracies because first it starts out as “looks like we have more wood than bricks so bricks are more valuable” you aren’t exactly measuring this so you can’t accurately check how much it’s going to cost to build something out of wood, this can make grave miscalculations because u don’t actually know how much is costs, P3. now if we introduced accurate price tags you can mathematically calculate “oh wood is 10k and bricks are 50k so it’s cheaper to build out of wood” with this information you have a more accurate way to measure the cost of your house, C1. therefore real price tags to preform economic calculations more efficiently P4. a real price tag relies on how scarce it is and the demand of the people, and production cost and as i established before a free open market is a more accurate way to calculate production cost P5. the more accurate measurement of scarcity and demand is through bidding negotiations and trading P6. competitive bidding and trading happens in a free market while it doesn’t happen in communist theory C2. therefore real price tags can only happen in a free marketP7. competitive bidding requires private ownership, imagine ur trading pokemon cards neither of you own them everyone does, you don’t get anything from trading it at a competitive good price, neither does the opposite person ur literally just moving the groups cards from one place to another, the analogy is showing the incentive to trade competitively, in private ownership you actually own the thing, you are bidding and negotiating the best price you think something is otherwise you’d lose value, P8. the very definition of communism is to ban private means of production property and stop people from buying, selling, or owning, businesses and raw materials C3. communism cannot generate objective prices, making rational financial calculation unreliable P9. in communism when choosing whether or not to build the car out of steel or copper you can’t just look at prices and see “copper is 50k” and “steel is 5k” because there is no money in marx’s communist theory both are labeled free because it’s everyone’s resources, so it can lead you to not knowing which is more scarce and costs more resources and labor to build out of leading to over using resources, it stops us from doing basic economic math P10. to accurately measure values of goods you need a final price tag, you cannot look at a computer and say “hmm this price seems about right” P11. you must know how much is costed to make that computer as well as the labor cost, P12. if you under supply it leads to the populous not receiving enough based on their demand, C4. Therefore, without accurate prices reflecting scarcity and demand, a communist economy cannot reliably determine the most efficient allocation of resources, leading to shortages, waste, and inefficient production.
