No, time is not an illusion. If time were an illusion, then how do we see time as something efficient and that we use every single day? If time was an illusion, we definitely wouldn't use it in our daily lives and you wouldn't see it in our calendars and our schedules. Time is of an important essence and I understand your point of view. You'd think time is an illusion because outside of space, time may react differently and may be either faster or slower. However, this is not true on Earth. Since we are basically the only known life in the universe, then it is safe to say that time is definitely not an illusion.

I get your point. However, you are confusing possibilities with probabilities. Now, your claim is that, for example, imagine a commuter who misses the bus by one minute and then loses an hour. That can happen, but that is not due to time being an illusion. That is due to you being, for example, being late to the bus, for example. So that is not at all the issue of time. Rather, it is the issue or the personal issue of the opponent.

My opponent makes a fair point about the bus thing being about being late. But even so, waiting a minute feels different from waiting an hour, and that difference seems real. I dont know how to argue it, but time still doesnt feel like an illusion to me.
