Surprising fact: people often guess wrong about how they come across, but total blindness seems worse. My opponent might say that protects us, which is fair, but I still feel we need some feedback to know when we hurt someone. I am not sure how to argue it better.

But what if never knowing means someone keeps making the same mistake and never learns? My opponent makes a fair point about anxiety, honestly. I still just feel a little feedback helps us treat people better, even if it stings.

My opponent is right that not knowing could ease anxiety, and I admit I cannot really argue with that. Still, if someone never gets any hint of how they come across, they could keep hurting people and never realize it. That just feels wrong.
