Look, the standard argument I keep hearing is that everything needs a creator. But if that were true, then what created God? If you say God is eternal and uncaused, then you've just admitted that something can exist without a creator. And if that's on the table, then you can't rule out the universe itself being eternal and uncaused. You can't just add an extra step to the chain and pretend it solves the problem. The theist's logic only works if they apply it selectively, which means it's not really logic at all. It just pushes the question back one more level and slaps a label on it.

You're basically admitting God can't be a cause. But here's the thing: if that's true, then any god that exists would have to be just a thing inside the universe, which means it needs a cause too. And if a being outside space and time is identical to nonexistence, then God either doesn't exist or he's a temporal, contingent being. Either way, you've demolished the only respectable reason for believing in him. So thanks for making my case for me.
