It would be a great thing for the fan to let live the unfinished art of their favorite artist.

The other side acts like finishing a dead artist's work is just helpful cleanup, but it ignores that the artist never agreed to it. To me that feels wrong, even if the result looks nice. I can't really argue the tech side, but my gut says leave unfinished art unfinished.

Imo, the artist would be proud to see his unfinished work being done to make his art live. Even if he can’t agree because he is dead, he’s pretty much pationate in this domain. So who would’nt be happy to see his work not being worked on and finished or just upgraded ?

Isn't there a difference between enjoying an artist's work and putting words in their mouth? My opponent makes a fair point about fans wanting more, and I get that. But unfinished means unfinished, and that choice was theirs, not ours.

You made a point. But I think it would male people even more into art in a certain way. Using IA is maybe not a great way, but it will still males people try hard for something they’re into

The other side might be right that an artist would want their work finished, and I cant really prove otherwise. Still, guessing what a dead person would have wanted feels risky to me. I just think unfinished should stay unfinished.
