Ai generated songs should be allowed on streaming platforms as their presence doesn't automatically mean that they are becoming popular. Yes, we have seen AI artists gain popularity on platforms like Spotify. But we also see this when a singer has one song that blows up in popularity. The fame is short lived. And yes, one involves someone having their hard work noticed while the other comes from AI, but if we look at the basic facts, uploading AI music, finding suitable models and such practices can also be considered a form of hard work and in a growing musical industry where many different forms of expression are valid, I think it is perfectly ok for there to be AI music This isn't to say that regulations can't be PUT around AI music to make sure that the creators don't experience the same payoff or even anything similar to an actual artist

While I do agree that it takes something human and real away from the music, I think that not being able to explain the business side is a real loss here in terms of the subject matter, and I mean that not as a personal insult but more to illustrate how they are intertwined. As I said, AI music being present does not have to automatically equal a big payoff. Platforms can be pushed to develop regulations around the practice and if anything, seeing this be put in place can do a lot do discourage the use of AI as a whole because it connects with a range of age groups who use these platforms.

It does feel wrong, but I once again challenge the argument of it flooding platforms. If regulations are put in place that make the money made off of AI music little to none, would there really be that many pieces of it flooding the platform? Why would someone put in effort to make AI music knowing they get nothing from it? With growing expenses your time can be put into something that makes you money.
