The other side is treating last year's ring like a current title deed, and that's the miss. A ring is a snapshot, not a lease. Right now the Eagles have real turnover questions, an aging core, and a division where every team has beaten up on someone. Winning ugly is fine, but ruling means sustained control, not one championship glow. They're probably the best roster on paper, sure. But "right now" nobody in the NFC East has actually separated enough to call it a kingdom.
