I don't think books should never be banned because not banning books can have influence on the safety of children. There are a lot of books with harmful content out there and if children just get to read those, that may be harmful to them. Also, books can contain harmful information, information that's false or gives wrong ideas, which can be dangerous to a lot of things in society. Writers should publish responsibly and take note of the safety of people and society and children. Maybe give like warnings on the books, but I think the government should also just be allowed to ban books if they're really, really bad.
