Yes i think they should since if you restrict one specific group of people from voting then alot of people especially sexist people will try to take rights away from women again

I think if someone commits a serious crime, they've shown they don't respect the rules of our society. Voting is a core part of that social contract, so losing it for a while seems like a fair consequence. I know that's a blunt way to put it.

That’s a fair point about slippery slopes, I guess. But to me, losing the vote after a serious crime is about earning back trust, not about targeting groups. It feels different from sexism. I just still think there should be some consequence for breaking the law.

But they already have been through their concequences by taking some of their rights away wont fix them up but dehumanize them

You're right that people can change, and I can't really argue with that. But for me, voting is a privilege you keep by following the law. Even if someone reforms, losing it for a while is just a way to acknowledge they messed up. I still feel that way.
