Firstly, it is obvious we must place a national emphasis on STEM education because it lifts families descended into poverty upwards and reduce systemic economic inequality. It does this by providing technological jobs, that students who were educated about STEM. In simpler words, it creates more job opportunities for poorer families who lack jobs but are skilled in technology. It also equips nations with more scientific tools in order to combat existing world threats such as climate change, pandemics, and other crises. By placing a national emphasis on STEM education, we create fill our technological workforces, therefore helping us with climate crises, pandemics, etc.
