Yes, felons should keep the right to vote. It shouldn't even be a debate. Voting is a basic human right, one that ever citizen should have access to. For felons especially, the budget decisions and things a president or leader might do can affect those in prison a lot more. If budgets are cut, then they might have worse food, or less security. Felons who commit crimes that have nothing to do with politics or anything of the sort, should still have the basic right to help decide who will run their country. Felons are humans that have committed crimes, but they're still citizens of their country.

Notice how even my opponent doesn't even know whether it should be allowed or not, and that's because my opponent here can't find a convincing enough reason as to why they shouldn't be able to vote. Not because they're stupid, but because they just can't find a reasonable cause or justification as to why not. That, for you judges, should be enough to realize that they should.

My opponent here agrees that my points are accurate, and that they can't argue their point well, and that's because they have no point to argue for. Every single person deserves the right to vote, as they still do now, and this is why. America has spent hundreds of years protesting and fighting for the right for every single person to be able to vote, and that's because voting is such an important aspect for every single person's life. Do we really want to start taking those rights away just after hundreds of years of fighting for them, and just now, finally getting that right where everyone has it?
