Every human life begins at a precise, scientifically verifiable moment: conception. From that instant, a unique individual exists with their own distinct DNA, entirely separate from both parents. This is not a potential life; it is a living human being with a complete future ahead of them. If we believe that all humans possess an inherent right to life, then the intentional termination of that life is the destruction of an innocent person. We cannot define human worth by age, size, or location. Terminating a unique human life is, by definition, the taking of a human life—and that is why abortion must be recognized as murder.
