I think the other side gets it wrong by wanting one strict rule for every pregnancy. Situations can be messy and personal, and I just feel women should have room to decide rather than a blanket ban. I am not sure how to argue it better, honestly.
You can’t give people a « choice » to kill a human being so why should you when it’s a fetus. Its just a stage of development it dosen’t change the moral worth
Imagine someone pregnant who is scared and alone and just cannot handle it. My opponent makes a fair point about life, and I honestly do not know how to argue back. I still feel a blanket ban is too harsh, because every case can be different.
Yeah but you literally cannot kill someone even if it helps you in life. We can agree that the foetus is human so why could you kill it and not another human?
The other side gets it wrong by treating every pregnancy as the same clear-cut case. My opponent's point about moral worth is fair, and I am not sure how to answer it. I still just feel a blanket ban is too harsh for messy situations.
