ibelieve that vaccines should be required because they protect not only individuals but also the entire community.
First, vaccines prevent serious diseases and save lives. According to the World Health Organization (2024), immunization has saved at least 154 million lives over the past 50 years.
Second, vaccination protects vulnerable people, especially those who cannot receive vaccines because of certain medical conditions. When more people are vaccinated, diseases are less likely to spread.
Lastly, making immunization mandatory encourages everyone to take responsibility for public health.
We understand that some people have medical reasons not to get vaccinated, which is why reasonable medical exemptions should be allowed.
To conclude, vaccination is not just about protecting ourselves. It is also about protecting the people around us.
For these reasons, I firmly believe that immunization should be mandatory.
