The frame does a lot of work here. My opponent calls these trips an insult, which turns a tiny emissions line item into a morality tale. But climate policy is about scale and substitutes. Space tourism is a rounding error next to aviation, shipping, heating, and power, and it's not replacing clean energy. Calling it an insult may feel satisfying, but it risks scapegoating a spectacle while the boring, massive sources keep going. If the concern is warming, target the big levers with rules and prices, not just the richest joyride. The other side has a fair point about optics, but optics aren't policy.
