Look at Gaza, where airstrikes turn apartment buildings into rubble and families lose everything. I know the other side says it is about security, and maybe that is fair, but I cannot shake the feeling that this is just too much. It seems like it only makes things worse.

you have given me no facts only moral arguments somehting like 80 percnet of buildings are destoryed and something like 200k tons of bombs have been dropped yet only 75k causlaites inlcuidng combattants that does not sound like a genoicde it sounds like a war in which iisrael has tried as hard as it can to stop civillian casualties

The practical consequence I keep coming back to is more destroyed neighborhoods and more people with nothing left, which just breeds more anger. My opponent makes a fair point about October 7th and tunnels, and I am not sure how to answer that. I still just feel this is too much.

How much rubble and grief can one war justify? My opponent makes a fair point about tunnels and October 7th, and I honestly cannot argue with it. I just keep thinking that blowing up entire neighborhoods creates more enemies than it removes.
