To make sure we have a fair and equal debate, I am laying down my baseline facts so you know exactly what you are arguing against. First, answer me these three questions: What are the two human rights that should be protected above all else? What laws are currently in place regarding third parties that contradict the legality of abortion? What species is a fetus? Here is my view, stated as facts: The two most important human rights are the right to life and the right to equality. So your point is that a woman with a dangerous pregnancy should have the chance to save herself. So I have a few thoughts on that. First did you know that there is around 5 percent of abortions are actually made for medical reasons? And what people do not know is that only around .3 percent of all abortions are for serious medical issues that result in the baby dung either way. I’ll get back to that but that means that around 4.7 percent are medical issues that can be fully treated while pregnant, and around 95 percent of abortions are done for personal reasons. Now these personal reasons can vary, but for some it’s because of the wrong sex. Some people get a boy but wanted a girl and so abort it. For others it’s because they didn’t want a child. Interesting that they had to commit an act known to the main reason to produce life, and then become shocked when it actually occurs. Now you might bring up birth control, but even the companies that provide it being pills or condoms say that it isn’t infallible. They didn’t commited an act they should have been aware about, and when they realized they messed up and they created life, the consequences of their actions came to them, followed by responsibility and accountability. And because they didn’t want that they simply terminated it to avoid it. Sounds very selfish and narcissistic. It also sounds like what a recent Lindsey Clancy did, only she strangled her kids outside the womb. And then you bring up rape. Well rape isn’t a terrible thing don’t get me wrong, but the fetus, a human, soon to be baby, didn’t have anything to do with that. Killing the innocent fetus simply because it was the result of a horrible thing is right morally? And regardless it is still the child of the mother and shares her DNA. It’s hers, why should she kill it? Now back to the medical part. Since when has killing a life to save one morally acceptable? There is a difference between killing a child and letting it die naturally. I do respect doctors that make that decision in a tough urgent situation. But, that doctor still chose to take a human life in the process, and the blood will be on his hands forever. I know that was a lot and you didn’t have much to add to your point, so I think rather than continuing the debate, which we totally still can do if you want, I think you should just think on this and maybe do some research. Different sources obviously vary so I tried to keep my facts accurate while also leaving a little room for different sources and whatnot so I definitely encourage some research, though to be frank it’s very appalling stuff. So can I assume you agree that a fetus is a human life?

So again, medical choices that need it are less than .3 percent of all abortions, which for perspective is around 73-78 million abortions a year for the world. That leaves only about 300,000 women saved, and the rest for simply personal reasons! I don’t think it’s harsh at that point no? Especially when the 4.7 percent of treatable health issues still result in abortion? Now bodily autonomy. The fetus did not choose to be there the mother created it. It isn’t doing anything to the body, not willingly, not when the mother committed the act that put the mother there

So again the woman made the choice to have sex, which results in life. It was her choice. So when the consequences come, it also comes with a level of responsibility and accountability. Should a mother terminate her fetus simply because she didn’t want to deal with her mistake? And the fetus is human. Its DNA is only consistent with that of Homo sapiens, or human beings. So as a human shouldn’t it also share the same rights as a human?
