Death sentence should require mandatory organ donation because the cost is often the main argument against the death sentence. But an organ donation can fix that quickly, dead people do not need organs, giving the organs and body away for medical and scientific porpuses can leave a positive impact in the world.

It does not matter who the organ comes from, if it is can organ that can save someone's life, it is valuable. The person on death row likely commited a crime so bad they will never be able to make up for it. Remember, this takes organs away from someone who does not need it, and gives it to save innocent lives

Organs can't be sold, they are given to hospitals. I am not talking about straight cash payment, I am talking about the net positive impact brought by the organs. And having juries more confortable with death sentence is great thing, currently, not enough are confortable with it, and it is not being used nearly enough. Keeping someone who killed someone else alive is many times a disrespect to the victim and victim family. For the word donation, it is just being used because that what harvesting organ is called, It can also be rewritten "if people sent to death should forfeit bodily autonomy". More executions would mean more organs, which actually saves more lives, trading life of a criminal who commited a horrific crime for many lives of innocent people needing organs seems like a good trade. And that is the porpuse of a government, to produce the most net positive impact

The real problem with china's organ harvesting is not harvesting the organs itself, it failed because organs were being sold and corruption was going on. China's organ profit is caused by corruption, even without death sentence, china still faces corruption related to organs, the problem is not death sentence harvesting organs, it is organs being sold and and corruption taking place instead of organs being given to hospitals fairly to save lives.

The most basic human right is life. someone sentenced to death means the government decided they should no longer have the right of life, so if the most important right is taken away, all others are useless. Someone sentenced to death commited a crime so horrific they do not deserve human rights. And think about it the other way, a person with a loving family dying in hospital because there is no organ available, I would much rather save that life. having faster executions is great, because it lowers the cost of keeping someone in prison. And once someone is already sentenced to death, there is a low chance they would be found innocent while waiting for sentence. You talk about about wrongful convictions, which is rare, but true, and does kill innocent people. But have you considered about the ones who are killed because there is not an available organ, or those killed by a dangerous criminal who was released. these far outnumber the amoung who die from wrongful conviction. evidence required for death sentence should not be changed, only what they do with the body. tehre is nothing wrong with government owning someone's body after death, a dead person does not need their body, and someone sentence to death is unlikely to have anyone who actually loves them.
