Trump's approval ratings are at an all-time low, and almost all republican senate candidates have openly supported several of Trump's policies and are easy to connect to him. Furthermore, the key issue for voters is the cost of living, which Trump has severely worsened with tariffs, the war in Iran, money to Israel, and so much more. In contrast, a majority of democratic candidates argue against tariffs, against war, and against money to Israel. This is the reason why even the most republican leaning states, such as Texas, are projected to vote blue by a majority of polls, demonstrating how tides are shifting. Finally, almost all top news outlets project democrats either slightly or easily winning the senate, demonstrating what experts believe.

The idea that maps favor republicans in places that matter simply isn't true. Key states such as Michigan and even Texas are leaning blue, and a majority of states are too. My opponent literally agrees with me about momentum, but they argue holding is easier than flipping. However, this simply isn't true, when they drop all the warranting about Trump's harmful policies that can be tied to republican candidates, and that democratic candidates are arguing against such policies. Finally, my opponent drops the fact that almost all projections show democrats winning, the best metric for this debate.

He only claims the senate is a bunch of seperate state races, but again, I show you that even the most republican states are becoming more democratic, and harmful republican policies hurt people across ALL states.
