If humanity reaches a point in the near future where the means of production become sufficiently inexpensive through tech developments such as reliable nuclear fusion and advanced ai monitoring systems, then giving people who would otherwise be relying on benefits an amount of money which in this new economy means they can buy what they need would in my opinion be inevitable

Could you expand of what you mean by help targeted? I assume you mean that we should help the people in the world suffering the most. Which i agree with, however as I outlined, I believe that in the scenario I discussed the tech developments would mean that there would be a surplus. What I believe the UN would best do in that situation is alleviate the people of the world who suffer to varying extents, there would be enough food and materials that we could easily feed all of africa sustainably if it were regulated well with sustainability and nature in mind. Most people have to go to work, this i believe is a severe infringement on our quality of life and ability to self actualise, therefore, a UBI to everyone who needs it would be the obvious choice.

Yes, the current UN system is flawed, It is timid. We could not succeed with the 2030 sustainability goals, however as I argued before, this is where an AI system would be perfect. It could easily assess the needs of each individual nation, in which the price of a loaf of bread would become irrelevant when everything is unimaginably cheaper. It is obvious that you would not give 100 USD to a family in Bangalore.

I already outlined how it could be streamlined, we are talking about a system which has the potential to think better than the whole UN team. And I would argue that is exactly the UN's current function, It just manifests through more clean-up efforts and preliminary social upheaval in infrastructure investments such as clean energy in Africa. However, with nuclear fusion, the world would have a surplus, therefore the UN or what it becomes would have to manage this, and if they chose not to give people this amount which would be taken out of the accounts of the nations that already support it, then people would have no way of paying for the food in the interim period where it is not completely free and where their jobs have been taken by AI.

What do you mean by "one global body"? Only one global body can exist at all at that level. Trump believes it should not exist at all, the fact that a global government is contestable at all to me is a complete face-palm. Beyond that, whatever the "UN" becomes is uncertain. When I adrress the "UN" I mean the nations that have committed to social upheaval, they are not going to roll that decision back when the surplus comes, they will in my belief, unite further to secure a well being globally. They will transcend completely the limits of our current UN.
