Everybody agree that almost everyone have tried marihuana even once in life. Due to that we probably should prosecute every person which did it? Why we trying to fight with something which is that easy to bought that even kid can now buy that. As we remember situation in America during prohibition in same way we should consider this, when it is illegal that is just uncontrolled. We should choose control over it to safe our kids.

Yes you have a point it raises it use but only in first years of legalization then it just decrease. In my opinion it is easier to buy marihuana as children from some diller than from supervised shop. It don't really change it availability it change who can buy and what it is actually bought. We know some stuff from street can contain Mendeleev table. In situation where we have control over it this stuff would disappear. More legal trades make less space for illegal which reduce amount of dillers. Additionally countries which legalized marihuana notice reduction in alcohol consumption. All drugs are harmful but sometimes we need to choose the lesser evil.

If control is the goal, why does legalization so often turn into a market that needs new customers? You're right that prohibition fails and kids can still buy it. But legal doesn't mean controlled in the way you hope. It means ads, edible candy shapes, shops on every corner, and a culture saying it's harmless. That raises use, and adolescent brains pay the highest price. We can decriminalize small amounts and fund treatment without handing a profit-driven industry the keys. That's the quieter, safer chord.

So you try to say that alcohol is out of control it is legal now and we have everwhere ads, shops etc etc the anweser is no we don't have bescuse legalization doesn't my strictly promoting. We should apply same rules which regard alcohol. We need to teach not prohibit. Research about marijuana yield equivocal results and memory loss and other deficits are usually urban legends. Some studies demonstrates that marijuana can even ameliorate damage induced by MDMA. I can accept your compromis about legalization small amounts it undoubtedly great idea.
