Personally, as a person that does social media and social media person, personnel, I have realized that social media does more than good because first negative commentary towards people. Some people can get this negative commentary and drive them to suicide or suicidal thoughts. But leaks, AI leaks, AI deepfakes can ruin a person's life, and dumb things they could have done when they were 12 years old on the internet can affect their job opportunities, as well as unjustified cancelling. Because cancelling can really ruin someone's life. I feel like it does more harm than good. Because it can ruin someone's life over the smallest things they can do. Yes, it has stopped people that have done bad things. But it's also ruined people's lives because they have just thought that this person deserves to be belittled and lowered down and cancelled. So cancelling social media and social media does more harm than good.

But scrolling on a group chat, far from home, where you can be able or in some circumstances able to go and see the same people that you're talking to online. Isn't that more better to socially interact with them face to face than screen to screen? Because sometimes people can go online, try to make friends and not know who's behind the screen. As well as social media is bad because some little kid who is on the screen, some teenager that's alone in cipher and psychologically can't be talking to someone that's milipinates them. So it's best for people to talk face to face than talk over social media platforms.

My argument is that people that don't know each other in real life and people that are mentally not okay talking to, I mean children mainly, that are mentally not okay talking to adults that are prying predators is not a safe thing. If they went out and socialized and found people their age at school to socialize and talk to, wouldn't that be a better thing than them talking to random adults online that they don't know?
