I think making abortion illegal is wrong because someone should get to decide what happens in their own body, even if other people disagree. My opponent might have a point about life, but I just can't get past the idea that you can't force someone to stay pregnant.

You brought legality into a moral debate. I never said anything about it being illegal. that's a fallacy. But that doesn't mean ending a human life is justified. And it is a life we know this because life starts at conception

Imagine someone who never wanted to be pregnant being forced to carry it anyway; that feels wrong to me. My opponent makes a fair point about the fetus, and I am not sure how to answer it. I just keep landing on people needing control over their own body.

That is not your body, its has it own human. You can't claim something is you're body when its not. It has its own heartbeat and its own life. If anything aborting fetus's is against my body my choice because you go directly against that and kill it.
