It's justified for these atheletes to get a share of what the generate, for two reasons: It's principally justified since they contribute the most towards the total income earned and they devote so much of their time to the same. A pre-emtive rebuttal to this would be to say that the shares that they already earn are not enough because they're just a penny on the dollar of what they ought to make in the first place.

However, your argument cannot sustain itself since most Universities already have a dedicated fund toward the sustainance of the sport. It's sourced directly from tuition fee so them going to school directly aids the maintaince of the sport.

It is not unrealistic. Collage games ganer attention from international sponsors for the simple reason that they are the spring board toward gloabally earning staged like the NBA. Even if it were true though that there is no money, I think that's even a motivation toward the atheletes working much harder in order to extentuate themselves from the lack of money in the collage circuits.
