Roman Catholicism is false due to its inconsistency with the gospels, its ever-changing beliefs, and new introduced beliefs which are not in line with what was previously taught. The Roman Catholic Church (RC) teaches that church councils fundamentally do not publish or introduce new revelations, but rather seek to confirm traditions and keep the church in truth. Therefore by this logic, the teachings at vatican 1 of the pope being able to speak ex cathedral and having universal jurisdiction would have to be universal fundamental beliefs that were practiced and true not not only in the 1800s, but also in the first millenium. However, we see the opposite. Time and time again, Peter, who in RC faith is supposed to be the highest is constantly rebuked by even non-apostles –Paul–! Paul is a non-apostle who rebukes Peter, which would be impossible if we were to believe in a vatican 1 belief that were consistent. And finally, my other reason of RC being false hinges on the fact that teachings at vatican 2 are inconsistent with the christian faith. In nostra aetate, it says that Muslims and Christians worship the one true god, which is false. Muslims outright explicitly deny and reject the trinity, which Jesus directly says that no one comes to the father without me (existence of a second person in the godhead which muslims reject). So then I will ask, with vatican 1 and 2 beliefs being pillars of the RC faith, how are they consistent with church history and the Christian faith?

My opponent says he has a "gut feeling". However anyone in the audience and anyone reading this knows that we do not make arguments based off of gut feelings, and his point of bishops, eucharist, and Rome being treated with weight is moot. The reason why it is moot is because I am fundamentally pointing out contradictions within the catholic faith and the fact that they diverged from the path of correctness. Never did I state that the Roman Catholic faith diverged before the schism, but I have consistently pointed out contradictions that they strayed away from their beliefs in the first millennium. His point of eucharist and bishops is simply destroyed due to the fact that churches such as the Orthodox faith have these same things. According to his argument, why is the Orthodox faith not the one true church?
