Imagine a world where disagreeing with someone's politics automatically makes you a bigot and a monster. That's the shortcut being taken here. Calling Trump racist is the boy who cried wolf moment of our era — when everything is racist, nothing is. A real racist doesn't appoint Black cabinet members, champion criminal justice reform, or get endorsed by rappers who grew up in the projects. The "bad person" charge usually boils down to "he hurt my feelings on Twitter." That's not moral failing, that's politics with the volume turned up. Dislike his style if you want, but villainizing the man doesn't make your argument smarter.
