I think remote work is actually better then work in office. First we should consider that approximately 50% of people are introverters, they just struggle in everyday conversation, meeting and social thinks which of course happens in the office. Remote work is something astonishing for them. I am person like that and I surely can confirm I feel much better working at my home

The biggest thing for me is that with remote work, the office follows you everywhere, so you never really switch off. A lot of people just end up answering emails late into the evening. I guess offices at least force a clear end to the day.

That actually half true and depend on how person like to work. Some people prefer to divide their work to all day to have breaks and that okay and some of them can work in time blocks and they have time boundaries which they just don't cross.

Thats a fair point about introverts, I cant really argue with that. But think about someone starting a new job remotely, trying to learn by watching others. They end up lost and emailing questions all day. I still feel an office gives you that natural structure.

That is real problem however it can be solved. Tutorial videos, introductory informations everything of that can teach you how to work. For example online courses you can learn things don't even exiting your home. Additionaly we should remember that being in home is more relaxing then being in office and as we know less cortisol is higher effectivity

You make a fair point that some people can set their own limits. But I still think most people need that built-in office rhythm to actually stop working. Maybe remote works for some, but I just feel it blurs things for the rest of us.
